When I first heard about this book I was marveled because I had been searching for suck a book for years. I had been searching for a book of “wisdom” which this book is. In this book, Ms. Greene recounts the saying of her father as he taught her and her siblings in rearing them. What I like about the book is that it reminded me of my father and my grandmother. They were always giving me advice on living and how to avoid the pitfalls. Thou Ms. Greene is still a youngster compared to the wisdom found in the book, she remembered each and every lesson taught by her father. I guess I had remembered the lessons taught by my father and grandmother as well though I did not write them down. Through each one of her father sayings in the book is only one sentence long, they are each mini-sermons. This book would be good for young people to read because it would put them ahead of the game in that they would have that much more life coaching experience.

First of all, I’d like to say that what you are trying to portray is without question groundbreaking from my point of view. I thought that it was clever and real to the core. The raw advice most individual in our culture receive are passed down through word of mouth, and teachings we bestow on our young. As far as the book goes I was wanting more I wanted badly to read a story about why your daddy said all of those things or when pure happenstance would occur and his voice would bellow in your mind. Don’t get me wrong again I loved the book but I feel as if it was unfinished. Thank You for giving me the opportunity to be one of the first to feast my eyes on your endeavors.
